Baby News

I know it's been a while, and you(3) ke(3)neng(3) mei(3)you(3) ren(2) lai(2) kan(4). But if you are out there checking the blog to see if I've had my baby yet, well...yes, yes I have. Two months ago.

All I can say is, life totally changes with a new baby to take care of. And she takes up most of my time and energy. If I get a break, I usually eat. And/or shower. And/or nap. If I'm lucky. :)

So, if you want to see pictures, just check out my other blog here!

Spring Break - but don't get too excited...

Yeah for Spring Break! (We could all use one, right?)

Just keep in mind: The next stage of the project is due at the end of the week we come back, so prepare for that.

Also, those who have not turned in the art show assignment, get that done, to be turned in when we come back. Good job to those who finished in class! :)

Have fun, and be safe!

Semester Projects

The time has come! I know you are all so excited to get started. But, seriously, I hope you do choose to do something you enjoy and will learn from. It's up to you to make it fun.

If you didn't get the handout in class, talk to me and I'll get it to you. It should have most of the information you need to know, if not all.

Don't forget, you should be creating a proposal to turn in to me MARCH 5th. (That's a Thursday.) I will dock points if it is late.

FIELD TRIP!

I NEED YOUR PARENT PERMISSION SLIPS ASAP! YOUR MONEY NEEDS TO BE TURNED IN TOO - THURSDAY AT THE LATEST! I will print off a list of those who have paid Friday morning before school. If you are not on that list, you are not going.

Other info:
Buses will be out in front of the school. We are leaving at 11, so be there at 10:55! We'll be back around 1:00 pm.

Bring money for your own lunch, or pool with someone else - whatever you want to work out.

See you there!

Xin Nian Kuai Le!

We are celebrating the Chinese New Year this week in class, and to top it all off we are going to the "Four Seasons" restaurant for lunch next Friday (Feb. 6). (By the way, don't forget to pay for the bus - $8, and to get your signed permission form in asap!)

We'll party on Monday (with a little taste of culture), go over the Chinese zodiac on Wednesday, and finish the week off with popular new year traditions, such as the red envelopes (hong baos).

Celebrate and be sure to be nice and happy all week - that's how your year is going to go!
